York City's Centre of Excellence provides regular coaching sessions for under 10s and has teams ranging from under 11s to under 16s. The centre is operated by a number of part time coaches, who provide first class training midweek and manage their individual teams on Sunday mornings at the Club's Wigginton training ground. We also employ a part time Centre of Excellence physiotherapist who attends all training sessions and matches. Young players are selected through the club's scouting network and are often spotted playing for school or junior football teams in the community.
